ChiralVision offers a superior enzyme carriers for covalent binding under the name Immobead-150 and 350. The Immobead is designed to answer the specific needs of the industry for using enzymes under various conditions.
This bead is a macroporous acrylic polymer that is suitable for the covalent immobilization of a variety of enzymes. The porous beads are especially designed to have a low diffusion limitation that allows for the immobilization of enzymes with high specific activities and the use of organic solvents in reaction media.
Immobeads are currently the best covalent enzyme carriers available:
Enzymes from Novozymes. Activity: 1) tributyrin units in micromol acid / min.g at 40 C. Recoveries (%) are corrected for supernatant activity.
For research and development purposes, various quantities are available from stock. For production scale bulk quantities are deliverable on short notice. Immobeads are also available via Sigma-Aldrich (keyword: Immobead).
